This wine shows a dark ruby color... the bouquet has a definitive cassis aroma with hints of blackberry. The mouth feel is rich and full with continued nuances of cassis and chocolate through the mid-palate. The wine finishes cleanly with red berries, licorice and velvety smooth tannins. The mouth is long and soft with opulent flavors of dark cherries, roasted coffee and chocolate. This is a rich and silky wine with balance, complexity and structure. 2005 Petite Sirah - Dry Creek Valley Collier Falls

The 2005 Collier Falls Petite Sirah has a dark purple color and displays aromas of blueberry and clove on the nose. On the palate the wine shows an earthy character with hints of white pepper spice. A soft tannic structure coupled with a touch of toasty oak, gives the wine an elegant finish. This wine reflects its hillside origins, showing a very deep red intense color. Its bouquet is more subtle, with hints of white pepper and violets and a background of black currant jam. On the palate, the wine is bright with lots of liquorice, cranberry and blackberry. 2006 Primitivo, Dry Creek Valley - Collier Falls Vineyards

This second vintage of Collier Falls Primitivo has an intense dark red color with aromas of red currant and blackberry on the nose. Black pepper and clove spice coupled with soft tannins give the wine an elegant finish. Aging in French and American oak barrels (33% new American oak) gives this wine a hint of toasty oak. Lovely now and will cellar for 5- 10 years.

2007 Late Harvest Primitivo, Dry Creek Valley, Collier Falls Vineyards
Collier Falls initial bottling of this dessert wine. Aromas of red currant and blackberry. This wine is full and rich on the palate withjuicy fruit leading to a lovely finish of cocoa and toasted oak. The fruit was harvested at 31.5 degrees brix and the wine has a residual sugar of 6.34 % by weight. Perfect now or well suited for aging. 140 cases made.
